As the Superintendent oversees the daily operations and program activities of the school, students will benefit from this transition as the Principal, Vice Principal, and School Counselor will have more time to devote to them and the needs of each family. An important function of the new Superintendent will be to develop and maintain open and collaborative communication with all stakeholders. The more the Superintendent knows and understands the different needs of the students, student families, alumni, community of Vallejo and surrounding cities, school administration, faculty, and all other staff, the better support and leadership will be able to be provided.

As the Principal (focusing on Middle/High School) and Vice Principal (focusing on Elementary) devote a majority of their time and attention to their respective duties and responsibilities, the Superintendent will be in a strategic position to focus his or her attention on the overall effectiveness, long-term growth, and internal health of the school. Working in collaboration with the K-12 Administrative Council, North Hills Management Team, School Board, and North Hills Leadership Team, the Superintendent will be a key person in future planning for the school ensuring all stakeholders are considered and served with excellence.
